2016 – PRESENT

Wikimedia Foundation

Director of Design (since 2024): I lead the product design team in the Wikimedia Foundation's Product & Tech department, partnering with Product and Engineering leadership on product strategy, whilst continuing to be hands-on (Figma! Claude!) with high-priority work. Recent projects include designing the Wikimedia Attribution Framework from scratch, Wikipedia's 25th anniversary experiences (25 YoW, Baby Globe), AI-assisted editing tools, Wikipedia's Year in Review, and other new product experiments.
Sr. Group Design Manager (2023): Led designers across Core Experiences, including Growth, Editing and Web, and Design Systems, partnering with Product and Engineering leaders on product vision and strategy.
Principal designer / Design Manager (2018 - 2023): Led product design for Wikimedia's Growth team, using research and experimentation to develop new contributor experiences that increased the growth and retention of Wikipedia editors across 300+ language editions. Alongside this, I provided design direction and mentorship across mobile, web, structured data, and privacy & safety work.
Mobile apps design (2016-2018): Designer for Wikipedia’s Android app, and (briefly) for its iOS app.

Sitecore

UX design for the Sitecore Experience Platform — a suite of Web Content Marketing applications that enables companies to create context-driven websites, web apps and other marketing content.

2013 – 2015 | LEAD UX DESIGNER

Google

Lead UX for the Reporting & Verification product suite in Google Marketing Platform for Enterprise (f.k.a. DoubleClick Digital Marketing), a platform for advertisers and agencies to execute and manage display ads campaigns. Component design contributor to the Material Design system, primarily form controls used by enterprise applications.

2009 – 2012 | UX CONSULTANT

UBank & NAB

Led the UX design of internet banking facilities for UBank, Australia's first online-only bank. Subsquently consulted on the implementation of the "NextGen" core banking platform for UBank's parent company, NAB (National Australia Bank).

2008 – 2009 | UX CONSULTANT

Deloitte Digital

Worked as part of Deloitte's Consulting practice, engaging with a broad range of clients from retail to telcos to mining and financial services.

2008 – PRESENT

Freelance consultant

Providing UX, visual design and print design services to clients including Adform, RSVP-popup.com, and Zurich University of the Arts.
